Hypothes.is
From MPublishing
Hypothes.is is a web annotation and commenting tool enabling the collaborative evaluation of knowledge. It supports sentence-level critique and is a tool for community peer-review to provide commentary, references, and insight at the article level. It is currently under active development, however it is available for piloted use in Michigan Publishing journals.
As of May 2014, The Journal of Electronic Publishing began piloting Hypothes.is. For an example of the tool and for details on how Hypothes.is works, see the article at http://dx.doi.org/10.3998/3336451.0017.201.
Currently, there are no mechanisms to moderate or receive notifications of comments/annotations.
If you are interested in using Hypothes.is with your journal, please get in touch with us at mpub-help@umich.edu.
